Learners attend Literacy Day in Cradock
Learners from all schools in Cradock attended the International Literacy Day function.

CRADOCK NEWS - Learners from all schools in Cradock attended the International Literacy Day function in the Cradock Library Hall on 17 August.

Learners could listen to extracts from new publications being read to them. Young learners from several schools took part in a reading competition, with excellent results.

New publications were also on show. "A child who reads, exceeds," was the message of this commemoration of International Literacy Day.
