GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — For the shawl curious, a workshop to demystify construction and techniques involved in crocheting a shawl will be presented by Made It in August.

Spend the day exploring the beauty and intricacy of crocheting a ‘Lost in Time’ shawl.

While crocheting together, tips and insights will be shared by the workshop presenter.

The only prerequisites for the workshop are basic crocheting skill and an understanding of basic crocheting terminology.

The workshop will be presented on August 12 and again on August 26 from 10:00 to 12:30.

Anyone interested in attending must please phone 082 922 5661 to reserve their place.

The only cost involved will be that of printing the required pattern, otherwise, a pattern can be found at www.mijocrochet.wordpress.com/ and printed beforehand.

Coffee, tea and tasty treats will be available to order from Polka or Our Yard.
