GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Kroonvale Primary School in Graaff-Reinet will be closed until further notice after a learner’s parents tested positive for Covid-19.
“The school will undergo a deep-cleaning on Monday,” school principle William Hector told the Advertiser this evening (12 June), but said he could not give further comment on the situation.
According to a letter released by the school, the learner is currently in self-isolation. Classmates and staff not already screened for the virus will also be screened.
“We urge parents to practice Covid-19 rules and regulations at home,” the letter read. “This includes washing hands, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.”
