GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A gang of armed robbers are still at large after robbing a business in Kirkwood on Thursday 3 October.
The robbers got away with cellphones and cash at Exact on Main Road.
According to Captain Gerda Swart, spokesperson for the Uitenhage and Kirkwood police district, two men, one armed with a gun, walked into the shop at 9am and demanded money and cell phones.
"Two more men were sitting in the getaway car, a white Toyota Corolla. No shots were fired," Swart added.
Graaff-Reinet Police Cluster Spokesperson, Captain Bradley Rawlinson, confirmed that the Graaff-Reinet Police are also on the lookout for the suspects and the vehicle after the Eastern Cape Provincial Police sent out a national instruction for all police to be on the lookout for the robbers.
However, Swart said it is against police policy to make the vehicle's registration number public.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kirkwood Police at 042 230 7603.
