NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS – Frank and Carol Kraai of Nieu-Bethesda have opened a quaint new restaurant at the end of the pear tree avenue, just before you enter the village.
This brightly painted little eatery overlooks the pastoral lands to the south of the village and provides a pleasant stop for passers- by.
According to Carol, she cooks food, “Just like my Ouma made”. “Kapaaislander Etes” is open all day.
Homemade milk tart, ginger-beer and pineapple juice are available as refreshments if popping in at tea-time.
Freshly baked roosterkoek will fill hungry tummies at lunch time, and a traditional Karoo meal is offered each evening.
For something different, visit this unique little restaurant this holiday season!
