Jaws of life gives new hope
The DBNLM's Fire Department received the jaws of life equipment to improve service delivery.

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Fire Department of DBNLM recently received the jaws of life equipment. This equipment was handed over by the executive mayor of the Sarah Baartman District Municipality, Cllr Deon de Vos.

Dennis Fortuin, Head of Protection Services in the DBNLM district, says that this special tool was handed over just in time for the season ahead to improve service delivery on the roads.

"This tool means a lot to the department in terms of saving lives. Our senior Firefighters has been well trained to use this equipment and also have the necessary experience.
