GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The year-end function of the Graaff-Reinet Chamber of Commerce will be held at the end of November.

The event will feature Dr Dennis Farrell, the newly-elected chairman of the George Business Chamber, as guest speaker and will be held at the soon-to-be-reopened Coldstream Restaurant.
Dr Farrell is the MD of Alfa & Omega NBS, a George-based company specialising in business support, HR consulting, recruitment and training and has recently joined the NMMU George Campus Business School as a part time lecturer. In addition to this, he is also one of the authors of the recently-published book, Employment Relations Management Back to Basics: A South African Perspective.
Dr Farrell’s talk will include, among other, the impact of the macro-economic environment on micro-economic environment and on the platteland in particular.
Louwrens Selzer, who residents may remember brought adv. Gerrie Nel to Graaff Reinet last year, will MC the event.
Members of the Graaff-Reinet Chamber of Commerce interested in attending the event, are asked to book their seats, by confirming their attendance with Kim Imrie at 084 468 0027 by no later than 9 November.
The cost of attending the evening, which includes a delicious dinner, amounts to R175 per person. However, the fee for attending the talk alone, is R50. A cash bar will be available.
The event is being held on Wednesday evening, 21 November at 18:00 for 18:30.
