GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Union Preparatory Schools annual fundraising initiative “The Wild Karoo Online Auction” is well underway and closes tomorrow, 14 September, at 21:00.

From leather handbags to TLB hire, from pamper packages to a year’s supply of dog food, from dining experiences to weekend escapes and holiday packages…there really is something for everyone!
Biltong and trophy hunters be sure to get your bids in.
A wide selection of biltong and family hunting packages are on offer and species include springbuck, warthog, blesbuck, kudu, zebra and more. The Springbuck Grand Slam, Trophy Black Springbuck Hunt and Trophy Blue Duiker Hunt are ideal for the seasoned hunter.
Thrill-seekers, there are several lots that will get your adrenaline pumping: A unique Ballooning Experience, Addo Zipline & Giant Swing Experience, Fish River Canoe Adventure or a Close Encounter with Elephants.
Wine collectors and connoisseurs should have a look at the collection of wines on offer by The Fledge & Co Wines, Du Toitskloof and Middelvlei. Packages include cases of wine, magnum bottles of wine and a 5-litre bottle of award winning wine that can be re-filled ten times!
Adorn your walls! A selection of original artworks and photographic prints by the following artists are also under the hammer: Nicky Roselli; Malcolm Bowling; Kim Black; Robert Southey; Johan Van Zyl; Janet Kingwill; Sarie Reynolds and Hugh Frost.
This year our online auction culminates with a Formal Gala Cocktail Function on Friday, 14 September, where a separate live auction will take place.
Tickets are limited so hurry to get yours from the Union Preparatory School office or contact admin@wildkaroo.co.za. The event starts at 18:30 and the live auction will showcase a variety of products; accommodation and hunting packages.
Wi-fi will be available to facilitate bidding on the Online Auction until it closes at 21:00. This prestigious event promises to be one to remember with awesome lucky draw prizes, a cash bar, a smorgasbord of fine cuisine, DJ and dancefloor and even Fire-dancers! A professionally curated collection of artworks will also be exhibited and sold at the event.
Exhibiting artists include Amie Tarr, Bronwen Langmead, James Stead, Janet Kingwill, Margorie Arnott, Rebecca Langmead, Sarie Reynolds and Stacey Fitzhenry to mention a few.
