GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Amidst uncertainty due to Covid-19 and nationwide lockdown, the annual Hospice Hike & Hobble event has been postponed.
However, the Camdeboo Hospice is still in dire need of donations.
"With these uncertain times we are not able to plan anything," explained organiser Yvonne Drummond. A new date will be communicated as soon as this is decided.
The popular event, in aid of Graaff-Reinet's Camdeboo Hospice, hoped to raise R150 000 for the organisation. The money raised would have enabled Camdeboo Hospice to continue functioning until the end of August.
"Unfortunately, their funds will now run out much sooner. If you have already collected money and would like to donate, it will be greatly appreciated," Drummond said.
