GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – Next weekend, on Saturday morning, 27 January, Graaff-Reinet resident Hestie van der Mescht and Ward 2 councillor Linda Botha will be leading a clean-up at the Nqweba Dam.
"We aim to collect as much refuse as possible at this beautiful recreational area and hope that others will feel inclined to help us in this endeavour,” said Van der Mescht.
Residents are invited to join in as an individual, a family or a group and to help make a difference.
Refuse bags and gloves will be provided.
The clean-up effort will start at 08:00 and will continue until 12:00.
