KAROO NEWS - Lace up your tekkies and get into gear because it’s Global Running Day.
The annual event, celebrated across the world on the first Wednesday of June, celebrates the sport of running.
According to globalrunningday.org, participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate in some type of running activity, and to submit their names through the Global Running Day website.
Of course, locals will have to participate between 6am and 6pm, to adhere to lockdown level three regulations.
Have fun, and don’t forget your mask!
Ready, set, run. A parkrun participant, before the pandemic struck.
