AAFF-REINET NEWS — Union Preparatory School’s annual fundraising initiative “The Wild Karoo Online Auction” is well underway and closes on Friday, June 23, at noon.

Need to fill that freezer? Check out Lot 13 - a 16.7kg biltong hamper or Lot 18 - a whole lamb, slaughtered and packaged. Those keen on the hunt can choose from ten Biltong Hunts or Trophy Hunts where meat is included.

Wine collectors may be interested in Lot 14 - a 5-litre bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon by Middelvlei Wines including x10 annual refills or Lot 56 - six 375ml bottles of Dormershire Desert Wine.

There are five more packages in the wine category including Lot 64 - an authentic half barrel filled with 53 bottles of wine and spirits... that’s more than one bottle per week of the year.

In the Live Game Collection, Lot 77 to 79, three fine parcels of Kalahari Springbuck Rams are on offer. The Rams currently belong to Graham MacCabe and their superb genetics present huge breeding potential.

The Wild Karoo offering includes over 75 exciting auction lots, including accommodation packages which vary from luxury retreats to self-catered getaways, top-class trophy safari packages, biltong hunting packages, livestock and live game, professional photo-shoots, dining experiences, collectors wine and a variety of awesome products and services.

Original artworks by the following artists are also under the hammer: Allana Willox-Fourie, Amie Tarr, Brenda Pudifin, Darryl Legg, Janet Kingwill, Marguerite Beneke, Marilee Houseman, Sarie Reynolds and Stacey Fitzhenry.
