GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Union High School's Matric Farewell of 2018 was once again a glittery occasion, to say the least.
Right from the start, with small and big (really big) vehicles, girls in beautiful dresses and the dashing young men in their suits, to the final barefoot dance, the matrics were smiling from ear to ear.
At the SA College for Tourism on Panorama Hill, after walking down a fairy-lit red carpet the matrics entered into an exquisite forest.
Their eyes feasted on stumps, candles and pine cones as they mingled and took some precious pictures. They were then escorted downstairs to the picturesque dining area and spoiled with a three-course meal that even included Amarula ice-cream.
They ate, laughed, danced and made memories that they will never forget.
Thanks are extended to the Grade 11 class, the Matric Farewell Committee and everyone else who was involved in making the evening so special.
