GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Graaff-Reinet SAPS offices on Middle Street, as well as the nearby detective office, were closed again today (28 June) due to a positive Covid-19 case.
More details on the positive case are not yet available. An enquiry has been sent to Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo, National Spokesperson of the SAPS.
This closure follows the closure of the offices in May after an officer tested positive for Covid-19.
While awaiting official comment from Naidoo, the Advertiser learnt that all police officials are still on duty. A decision on the contingency plan will be made tomorrow by brigadier Rudolph Adolph, the cluster commander
The detective branch and police office will perform duties from the Barney Eysell Hall, at the back of the Middle Street Offices.
