GOLF NEWS - The past week was a busy one for local golfers as the IPS Competition and the Bokkedag Golfday were held during the week.
The enthusiasm of the players and strong competition in the field made for an eventful week.
IPS competition - 23 August:
- First place - Bernie Weyer - 40 points
- Second place - Andre Olivier - 38 points
- Third place - Ricco Bester - 36 points
Bokkedag Golf Day - Better Ball - 26 August
- First place - Archie Welman and Chris Koeberg - 45 points
- Second place - Kenny Eaton and Yvonne Drummond - 42 points
- Third place - Jacques Wagener and Colin Warner - 42 points

Second place in the Bokkedag goes to Yvonne Drummond and Kenny Eaton, the price was handed over by Johnny Ludick, club captain of the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club.
