GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The popular Paint for Purpose in aid of Narsingstraat School hostel are continuing to draw support from the local community.
The recent van Gogh class, held at Polka, was attended by 16 ladies from in and around Graaff Reinet. The class was led by local art teacher Amie Tarr, and the focus was on landscapes. It was a lovely evening, enjoyed by all, and a total of R1 900 was raised towards the hostel revamp.
The next paint night is on 4 June, again at Polka, and the focus this timewill be on the artist Frida Kahlo. As always, the participants will be able to give their work their own unique Karoo twist!
The cost for the class is R250 per person, and includes all art supplies, a light dinner and a welcome drink.
