GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - After more than a year, Stefan and Erika Cramer are back in town.
They are well remembered in the Graaff-Reinet community for their assistance in the struggles against fracking and uranium mining in the Karoo.
In the meantime, the Australian mining company Peninsula Energy has announced to leave the country by the end of this month.
Enough reason to celebrate and to reflect.
Since the Cramers left 14 months ago, they have been travelling around the world to check on projects they had been working on earlier in their professional careers.
On 14 March at 10:00 in the Old Library Building of the Graaff-Reinet Museum, they will share their findings in a presentation “What really works - Experiences from 50 years of development work”.
They will start with an update on fracking and uranium mining in the Karoo.
Snacks will be served.
