GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Yesterday, on 8 October, four males were injured in an alleged hit-and-run.
According to Col. Priscilla Naidu, media spokesperson for the police, the incident occurred at 3:50.
The police were alerted and found the four males lying in the road at Middle Street, Horseshoe, Graaff-Reinet.
A 17-year-old male was seriously injured while three other males, aged between 16 and 22 years old, sustained minor injuries and were treated and discharged at the Midlands Hospital. Naidu says at this stage, it is not known what had happened.
However, the police have opened a case of reckless and negligent driving.
According to Naidu, it is alleged that the driver of the vehicle failed to stop after the accident.
