NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS – Tweefontein Guesthouse on Blaauwater farm was the perfect venue for a group of seven local ladies who got together to create under the expert eye of Janet Kingwill last week.
Following a mostly flowery theme, the ladies spent two full days immersed in their work and painted some beautiful pieces of art.
Hosted by Liesl Kingwill, Tweefontein is the perfect venue for workshops such as these.
She is hoping to grow the concept into a bi-monthly gathering where up to 20 people can meet, create and be inspired by different artists.
Up to 14 people can be accommodated on the farm and larger workshops can be hosted in the ‘skuur’ which has incredible light, space and views of the Lootsberg mountain and over the ‘vlaktes’ of the Karoo.
