Dog show for man’s best friend

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Once again the CSI Community Dog Show will give owners the chance to showcase their precious pets at the Karoo-lus Festival.

Unlike traditional dog shows, this one really has something for everyone, and every dog will indeed have its day!

There are five widely varying categories, each with food prizes sponsored by Montego for the winner.

The best-looking dogs will be vying for the title of Mr and Miss K-9 Karoo-lus 2018, but for owners whose dogs are more “character” than looks, there are other opportunities to be a winner. There will be a category for the most muscular dog, and at the other end of the spectrum, the most dainty or petite dog.

Do not despair if your dog is not Crufts material- the final category is called Celebrating the Karoo Mutt – ideal for those pavement specials who are so often full of character, love and devotion.

The event will be held in the main arena at Botanics on Saturday, 29 September, between 09:00 and 10:00. There is no additional entry fee, but each dog may only be entered in a maximum of two categories.
