GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet-based Jehovah's Witnesses will be among the anticipated 8 000 delegates attending the three-day annual convention which will be held from 19 to 21 October, starting at 09:20 each day, under the theme "Be Courageous!"
The programme will be held at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, as well as at venues in 180 different lands.
As in previous years, the Witnesses are participating in a global campaign to invite the general public to attend the programme free of charge. The three-day programme consists of 54 presentations that will include talks, audio dramas, interviews, and short videos. Additionally, a feature film entitled The Story of Jonah - A Lesson in Courage and Mercy will be shown on the final day of the programme. Each day, the morning and afternoon sessions will be introduced by music videos prepared specifically for the convention.
It is evident that people of all ages are dealing with more anxieties and fears than ever before. It takes courage to face these pressures.
Everyone is welcomed to this year's convention to benefit from the practical advice that is contained in the Bible.
Large LED screens will be erected at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium so that those in the audience can enjoy the programme in their preferred language, whether English, isiXhosa, Afrikaans, or Sign Language.
