Graaff Reinet
Burglary
• The owner of a residence in Chris Hani Location was away from 7 to 19 November. Upon his return home he found the house was broken into and the double door fridge and television were stolen.
• A guest was sitting in the dining room of a guest house on Caledon Street on 19 November past 7pm. When he returned to his room, he found that is had been broken into and that money was stolen.
• A complainant alleged that on 20 November at 9am, he found that the burglar door to his residence on Cypress Grove was removed and a television was stolen.
• The night of 17 and 18 November, a suspect entered an accommodation business and stole a guest's cellphone and cash.
• A man was sleeping in his home in Santaville the night of 21 and 22 November. When he woke up the next morning, his cellphone was stolen.
Theft
• An eighty-year-old woman reported that on 2 November at 9pm, she was on her way Midland Provincial Hospital. She sent another person to her residence on President Street in Kroonvale, to fetch some clothing, but when the complainant returned home she found cash and her cellphone was stolen.
• On 26 November, a woman found that her cellphone was stolen from the table in her Umasizakhe residence, after 1pm.
Theft out of motor vehicle
The complainant parked his VW Jetta 24 November his Santaville residence at 5.40am. Later that morning, he found that his a radio and tape, as well as the car's radio, was stolen.
Stock theft
A woman reported that on 27 November, a pig that belongs to her was stolen from cages in Kroonvale.
Assault with grievous bodily harm
• A woman reported that on 24 November at 4pm, she was at her uncle's residence with her boyfriend. After her uncle had been in conversation, the boyfriend closed the back door and took out a knife and stabbed the complainant.
• On the 25 November at 10pm, a man was walking on Cockscomb Street with friends, when a male suspect arrived and stabbed him with a knife.
Aberdeen
Malicious damage to property
• On 22 November, a window of a residence on Reffety Street was damaged.
Assault with grievous bodily harm
• On 24 November at 11.45pm, a woman was struck to the mouth with a brick.
