Graaff Reinet
Burglary
• On Booi Street Asherville, a woman the evening of 9 November locked all doors and went to bed. The next morning, she found her front door was standing open and two men were standing inside her residence. When the complainant saw the suspects she started screaming and they ran away. She reported that five cellphones were stolen.
• Between 10 and 11 November, a drill jigsaw and 2.5 litres of paint were stolen from an Asherville residence.
• Two drill machines, two small drills and five bags of cement were stolen from a Umasizakhe business, on 8 November.
Assault
A man went to an Asherville residence on 10 November and asked for a suspected stolen television. He was then assaulted.
Assault with grievous bodily harm
On 4 November at approximately 3pm, a woman was in an argument with a man at an entertainment area on Middle Street. As a result, the man assaulted her.
Robbery
On 8 November, a man was standing in front of a business on Caledon Street, when the suspect (who is known to him) pushed him against a wall and robbed him of his cellphone and jewellery.
Aberdeen
Assault with grievous bodily harm
• A man was with his friends at an entertainment business in Thembalesizwe on 3 November at 10pm, when somebody got up, walked to him and stabbed him in the chest, after insulting him.
• In Lotusville, on 11 November at 8.30pm, a woman was lying on her bed. Her boyfriend arrived and stabbed her through an open window.
Crimen Injuria
On 11 November at 7pm, two business partners had a verbal disagreement. The one swore at the complainant and later attempted to assault him.
Malicious damage to property
On 9 November at 11pm, the complainant was called to her bedroom by her boyfriend, where they argued. The boyfriend then threw her cellphone against the ground and assaulted her.
