KAROO NEWS - Graaff-Reinet and surrounding towns have enjoyed a warm couple of days, but buckle up because cold days are forecast for the week ahead.
According to Snow Report SA, parts of the country might even see snowfall, including Nieu-Bethesda, Cradock and Somerset East. Light snowfall is also forecasted outside Graaff-Reinet.
“Snow is expecting to fall late Thursday evening or early on Friday, and will continue periodically until Sunday or Monday,” the report read.
This is, however, an advanced report and likely to change in the days ahead.
On Wednesday (26 August), the following temperatures were forecast:
Graaff-Reinet
- Thursday: 24°C and 4°C
- Friday: 19°C and 3°C
- Saturday: 14°C and 1°C
- Sunday: 11°C and -1°C
Nieu-Bethesda
- Thursday: 22°C and 1°C
- Friday: 16°C and 0°C
- Saturday: 12°C and -2°C
- Sunday: 9°C and -3°C
Cradock
- Thursday: 26°C and 3°C
- Friday: 21°C and 2°C
- Saturday: 16°C and 1°C
- Sunday: 12°C and 0°C
