GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Just as Graaff-Reinetters were planning on putting away their winter jerseys and blankets, another cold front has hit.
According to Snow Report SA, the cold front, that has seen Graaff-Reinet’s temperature drop to a low of 4 degrees today, with only a maximum of 17 expected, may see the Sneeuberg mountain range experience some light to moderate snowfalls.
The SA Weather Service has warned about disruptive snowfalls over the south-western high grounds of KwaZulu-Natal from this afternoon into Thursday morning. They also confirmed Snow Report’s forecast of light to moderate snowfalls over Sneeuberg, Winterberg and southern Drakensberg during this time.
By Friday morning, all snowfalls should have ceased, with clear skies expected, and a maximum temperature of 27 degrees predicted for Graaff-Reinet.
