GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Approximately 60 people enjoyed a great evening of pancakes, fun and jovial fellowship at the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper this week at St James Church in Graaff-Reinet.

The tables buzzed with conversation, and a great evening was had by all.
Many people had also pre-ordered takeaways, which were dished out before the main supper.
The cooks were hard at work frying and flipping pancakes (too busy even to be photographed!) and bartenders Jerry Rose-Innes, Evette Holmes, and Simon Rose-Innes, were certainly kept busy too.
Some of the ingredients were donated, and after the costs are deducted, all profits will go towards the work of the church.
