GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Camdeboo Veterinary Clinic in Graaff-Reinet (CVC) has warned that there is a serious outbreak of canine parvovirus in town.
Sadly, the Graaff-Reinet Animal Welfare Society (GRAWS) also had some puppies with the dreaded virus and for this reason, the kennels will be closed until Wednesday, 02 November, for deep cleaning and disinfecting to avoid any cross-contamination and further infections. GRAWS will still be operating but nobody other than staff will be allowed on the premises during this time.
"It is a massive task at hand and we still need your support," says Carlin Raath, manager of GRAWS.
Those who would like to donate any of the following items towards this project are requested to contact Raath at 063 559 5823: F10 SC, thick bleach (preferably with 50% chlorine), blankets, towels, gloves, bowls, large plastic basins.
"Your support during this time will be greatly appreciated."
