GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - All those interested in the work of the Camdeboo Hospice, which serves Graaff-Reinet and surrounding towns, are invited to the organisation’s 21st Annual General meeting on Monday 20 May.

Very few small local NPOs manage to last this long, but thanks to wonderful support from the community and other funding, our local Hospice is very much a going concern.

Marcia Kalebe, who was previously employed by Hospice Palliative Care Association in Cape Town, will be the guest speaker and will share her knowledge of palliative care. She is a newly elected Board Member of Camdeboo Hospice.

The new Board for 2019/2020 will be elected at the meeting.

The meeting is in the Hospice boardroom, at 17:00 for 17:30.

For the first time this year, the Hospice stoep in Church Square will be part of the town’s annual Stoep Tasting event. Krone champagne, with their caterers Wild Peacock serving oysters and salmon) and Fryers Cove will be sharing their offerings on the stoep. 

The Hospice team will be making and selling Greek lamb wraps and vegetarian wraps, and will be also seling Hospice honey, books and some smart ‘previously worn’ articles of clothing.
