GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet police have arrested a 18-year old suspect on suspicion of murder after the body of a man, Jaundrè Ward (30), was found in Bree Street, Kroonvale, in the early hours of Friday 28 October.
According to police on the scene, they were informed of the body by a Bree Street resident.
The resident alleged that he heard arguing and on going to the front door, he witnessed the suspect stab the deceased. The eyewitness then called emergency services.
When paramedics arrived on the scene they found the deceased with an open wound to his chest.
The suspect will remain in detention until his first court appearance.
The body of the deceased was removed to the Graaff-Reinet mortuary.
