GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - 4th leadMembers, past members and interested parties are invited to join Graaff-Reinet's Friends of the Library at their Annual General Meeting on 27 March at 10am.
The meeting will be held at the Horseshoe Library on Parsonage Street.
The organisation, which is run by a small committee, has operated in town for 14 years. They aim to make books available, in the library, for members who pay a monthly or annual fee, as well as to non-members willing to pay a fee per book taken out.
Old, tattered and unpopular books are removed from time to time and handed over to the Horseshoe Library to use or to distribute to other libraries in town.
