NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - Justin Duckitt recently gifted an aloe trophy he made to Ikhala Trust for services rendered to communities over the past 20 years.
Duckitt constructed the aloe with wire and beading, so typical of rural art in the Eastern Cape.
Bernie Dolley, Managing Director and founder of Ikhala trust, said they were delighted to receive this beautiful work of art from one of their partners.
Ikhala Trust commemorates their 20th anniversary this year. Their logo is a aloe, and their vision, "Money follows good things", is well known by all NPO's and community projects that benefitted from their grants.
Dolley takes charge of the training and facilitating of many workshops every year, and many small towns have benefitted from training and funding by Ikhala Trust.
"We are only three on our staff, but we share full responsibility," Dolley said.
