GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Graaff-Reinet residents (and those from further afield!) are invited to join the St James Anglican Church family for a pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday, February 28.
Organiser Felicity Minnaar and her team of ladies will be flipping pancakes from late afternoon, using ingredients that have been generously donated.
The meal will be served from 6.30pm in the church hall, and guests will be able to enjoy a meal of two savoury pancakes and salad for R35. Wine and fruit juice will also be available to buy by the glass.
The fillings for the pancakes will be spinach and feta, and savoury chicken. Sweet pancakes, liberally doused in cinnamon sugar, will also be available at R5 each.
For those who would prefer to take their meal home, takeaways will be available from 4pm till 6pm. These can be pre-ordered from Evette on 082 323 1573 or 049 891 8103.
All profits will go to the church funds.
