GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The Camdeboo Sterilization Initiative (CSI) team in Graaff-Reinet, under the guidance of Erma Voigt, tirelessly labour to ensure that dogs and cats are sterilized.
In the process, they also rescue township animals and put in a huge effort to find homes for these often abused dogs and cats.
Frans Boekkooi, a well-known sculptor from Nieu-Bethesda, and dad of a few CSI rescues has donated a sculpture (seen in the accompanying
photo) in order to raise funds towards this organisation.
It is a ‘silent auction’ and those interested can place a bid via e-mail. Bidding will close on February 24 at midnight.
Bidders will be kept up to date as bids come in and of course, the highest bid will buy the sculpture.
A bid for R8500 has already been received.
