ABERDEEN — The ladies of the Aberdeen Dutch reformed Church will once again be laying on a sumptuous lunch for Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 14, in the church hall.
The main course will be braised lamb with rice, potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin tart. To follow, a generous portion of malva pudding, served with custard or ice-cream. Complimentary fruit, tea and coffee will be served. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine but are just asked to bring their own glasses.
The cost is R100 for adults, and R50 for children under 12. Guests are asked to book with Tilly Beneke on 049 846 0225 or at the church office, by Wednesday, May 14, at the latest. The meal may also be ordered as a takeaway.
