CRADOCK NEWS - Three males aged between 26 and 52 were arrested in Cradock last Friday, 24 September, when 8,892kg of cannabis was found concealed in their motor vehicle.
It is alleged that the Cradock K9-dog unit and Highway Patrol acted on receiving information about a white Nissan Micra that was en route from Bloemfontein to Gqeberha and was entering Cradock on the N10 route.
The vehicle was stopped and searched and 22 wrapped plastic bags containing cannabis were confiscated. It had been concealed in the inside compartments of the vehicle.
The estimated street value of the cannabis is about R30 000.
The suspects were scheduled to appear in the Cradock Magistrate’s Court on charges related to possession of cannabis on Monday 27 September.
