GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet’s local parkrun saw 10 first-timers participate on the Saturday of 29 June. Last week, runners and joggers upped the number to 21.
Out of the 64 people who participated, 13 were able to improve their personal bests, which is also an improvement from last week’s 12.
Runner Sipho November was first in the male category with a time of 18:31, with Lydia Broadley first of the women with her 25:02/
November also holds the age grade course record, which he made on 16 March with his time of 17:28.
The parkrun would not be possible without its dedicated volunteers. This week’s volunteers were Mie Calitz, Kim Primic, Lusan Luscombe, Rozelle Köhne, Peter Burdett, Jacqueline Taylor-Freeme, Shirley Spencer, Raymond van Staden and Chloe Gerber
