GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A whopping 110 people attended the 112th Mountain Drive parkrun in Graaff-Reinet this past weekend.
According to Dave Neill, an organiser, 20 of the runners were first-timers and four people recorded new personal bests. Representatives of four different clubs also took part.
The event was made possible by Mike Calitz, Neill, Sorita Niemand, Anneke Wieneke, Adele van den Berg and Gerrie van Rooyen.
Neill said that a lot of people are still not registered and that it complicates the recording of the times in which an individual finishes the parkrun.
Malinda le Roux completed her 50th parkrun and also improved her personal best time from 35:47 to 34:52.
