NATIONAL NEWS - Although the Covid-protocols expire tonight, 4 May, the health department has stated that a last minute-update will be done to ensure that rules such as mask wearing will still be enforced.
Spokesperson Foster Mohale said the department is urging people to use their “common sense” in the meantime, while it is working on finalising the regulations.
"We will make a public announcement between now and midnight on how we are going to manage the pandemic and other notifiable conditions outside the state of disaster. There won't be any gap," he told George Herald.
