GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Tiny Tots, a newly registered crèche in Asherville, operating from the Full Gospel Church in the suburb, is seeking assistance.
Urgently needed are tables and chairs for little children, story books, picture reading books, toys, storage units, carpet, a heater, cereals, milk, baby formula crayons, and play dough.
Any kind of contribution would be of a great help to the new facility.
The lessons at the crèche are presented in English, although the children may speak other languages. Principal Louise Masimele would like to invite any parents interested in enrolling their child to visit the centre, or to contact her on 062 161 4534. People can WhatsApp her on 060 750 4200 or email masimelalouise29@gmail.com.
"I can reassure parents that their child will be in safe hands, and that the learning environment is peaceful and uninterrupted by strangers," said Masimele. She explains that the children will be taught by experienced and trained educators under her professional supervision. The crèche is not a day care centre, but a centre for learning. It is situated close to schools and safe shops, and within walking distance for parents who live in ward three.
"Integration is actively encouraged at Tiny Tots, and there is no discrimination against any religion, language, or colour. Children from all areas of Graaff-Reinet are invited to come and experience the joy and peace at our early childhood development centre," says Masimele.
The opening hours on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are 08:00 to 12:00 and on Tuesdays and Fridays it operates from 08:00 to 11:30 due to activities at the church.
Tables and chairs for little children are urgently needed.
Tiny Tots, on the corner of Vink Street and Narsing Street, would like to extend a word of thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Full Gospel Church for supporting the development of young children, and for contributing to their education from an early stage in their lives.
