BUSINESS NEWS - Peugeot George has shown organic growth in synergy with the establishment of a cross-border merger between the Italian/American conglomerate Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the French PSA Group, which consists of 16 brands. This merger was formalised on 21 January 2021.
This makes the new Stellantis Group the fourth largest vehicle manufacturer globally, aimed at growth and development through the collaboration of the 16 brands that now form part of the group.
The merger is already showing significant success for the Peugeot brand - not only internationally, but also in South Africa, where the brand grew by 35% compared to 22% of the industry.

Peugeot 3008 was the first SUV to win the European Car of the Year award in its first year of launch (2017) and in 2021 Peugeot 2008 was named the South Africa Car of the Year.
