ABERDEEN NEWS - The April sale at Aberdeen Books and Crafts will be held this Saturday, April 8, and as usual, this will coincide with the monthly Coffee Morning.
All stock in the shop will be discounted by at least 20%, with selected items offering even more. Any customer spending more than R1 000 will be offered a very attractive additional discount.
Books in the hardback fiction section will be sold at a flat rate of R20 per book, irrespective of the marked price - many of these are currently priced at R60 or R70, so will be a real bargain!
As always, all the food items on sale are home-baked, and they will be plenty of stock of the popular lemon dream cheesecake and savoury pinwheels. Amarula fudge has proved to be a hit too and will be available in R10 packs as well as by the piece at coffee time.
A free lucky draw will be held for all customers, with a prize of R100 to be used for either takeaway food or books. The draw will take place at 12 noon, so be sure to ask Leonie for an entry form!
