GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Somerset Stables, a hospitality establishment in Somerset Street, Graaff-Reinet, owned by Reinet Naudé, was last week awarded the Sanlam Top Destination Awards title in the Bed & Breakfast and Ungraded Star Grading!
The second annual Sanlam Top Destination Awards was held on September 6 at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay. From an estimated 8 000 establishments nationwide, 120 finalists were invited to attend the awards ceremony.
The Top Destination Awards platform aims to honour the accommodation establishments behind South Africa’s flourishing tourism industry.
The event was a huge success, hosted as a prestigious gala dinner offering all the glitz, glamour and entertainment befitting the champions behind the local travel and tourism industry.
Master of Ceremonies and distinguished international TV and radio presenter, Jen Su, hosted the event and announced a total of 28 individual winners, which included Somerset Stables that are now the proud holders of the 2016 Sanlam Top Destination Awards title.
