Go Karoo Adventures is a unique outdoor adventure and team building business that offers local outdoor activities for corporate groups, school groups, college groups and family groups.
Go Karoo Adventures was established and is run by James Jordaan and Jason Du Preez, two school friends who both share a love for nature and a passion for adventure sports, team building and outdoor activities.
Du Preez manages and runs the Karoo Eco Reserve Camp near Graaff-Reinet. He has 20 years of paddling experience and has taken part in many national canoe marathons and enjoys all outdoor activities.
Jordaan is the owner of Karoo River Rafting and is also qualified teacher who loves to guide and help children and adults through adventurous activities in the Karoo.
Jordaan lives on the farm De Keur and runs the River Camp. He is also a keen paddler with over 20 years of river paddling experience and is an avid mountain biker.
Go Karoo Adventures offers a wide variety of activities in which you can partake, these activities include river rafting, short to multi day rafting trips, tubing, abseiling, team building, obstacle course, fishing, hiking, canoeing, birding, mountain biking and star gazing.
They also offer spectacular Karoo accommodation, which caters for a multitude of needs.
The River Camp is situated between Cradock and Middelburg in the Eastern Cape on the river banks of the Brak River and has that holiday feeling that will make you come back again and again. This perfect get away combines the breathtaking beauty of the veld, expansive horizons, blue-grey mountains, wide open skies and all year round exciting river rafting and many more activities.
