Verlede Donderdag, 18 Januarie, het Laer Volkskool se prefekte uitgereik na die skool se nuwelinge tydens die skool se jaarlikse Graad 1-piekniek. Die klomp Graad 1’tjies het almal die middag by die skool se rugbyveld bymekaar gekom waar die groep prefekte toe met hul allerhande speletjies gespeel het.
