GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — On Wednesday evening, March 7, the John Rupert Theatre in Graaff-Reinet will screen the movie, Where do we go now?
Set in a remote village where the church and the mosque stand side by side, Where Do We Go Now? follows the antics of the town's women to keep their blowhard men from starting a religious war.
Women heartsick over sons, husbands and fathers lost to previous flare-ups unite to distract their men with clever ruses, from faking a miracle to hiring a troop of Ukrainian strippers.
The film is in Arabic featuring English subtitles and has a PG rating of 13.
The doors to the theatre will open at 18:30 with the movie starting at 19:00.
Tickets, at R25 each, will be available at the door.
