NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - After raucous and random performances in Richmond, Cradock and to an appreciative Saturday morning group of Rotarians in Colesberg, the pick-up old guys band called Ginger’s Fault is ready to roll into Nieu-Bethesda on Thursday, July 27.
The gig will happen at Die Ramstal Pub or in The Karoo Lamb Restaurant. The band promises nothing but relatively roughshod Chestnuts from the 50s, 60s and, occasionally, into the 70s.
Members are Antony Osler (author of the Stoep Zen/Zen Dust/Mzansi Zen books and bassman-singer), his brother Maeder (farmer, raconteur and harmonica player), Verlen ‘Ginger’ Seipp (banjo player-singer) and Chris Marais (Karoo Keepsakes co-author and singer).
All pass-the-hat proceeds will go to a locally-determined charity.
