ABERDEEN NEWS — The annual Thanksgiving Bazaar of the Aberdeen Dutch Reformed Church will take place next Saturday, October 7.
As always, this event is eagerly anticipated by Aberdonians, and all the usual popular food wares will be available. A children’s table will help keep the little ones busy.
Inside the hall will be a café serving drinks and an assortment of sweet and savoury snacks, with pancakes and puddings for those with a sweet tooth available to either eat in or take away. For those looking for a more substantial meal, curry and rice and the ever-popular braaivleis with salads will be ready for an early lunch.
There will be meat from local farms, fresh vegetables, home-baked cakes and biscuits, and ready-cooked meals to take home for the freezer.
The Bazaar officially opens at 10:00, but as everyone knows, many people will be there well ahead of this! Roosterkoek and coffee will be available outside, from 08:00, for those needing some early sustenance.
