RUGBY NEWS - The Jaguares lost their way a bit before the June break but Southern Kings coach Deon Davids reckons there is good reason to expect the Argentinian side to be a much stiffer proposition now than they were before.
While a team like the Lions might feel that it has benefitted from having the core of the side being part of a successful Springbok team in the series win against the Lions, the Jaguares made up just about the whole of the Pumas side that contested a close home series against England.
So while the Kings and other teams have to find each other again after the four weeks off in June, that shouldn’t be the case for the Jaguares.
“It will be a tough match against the Jaguares, as it always is,” said Davids before departing with his 25-man squad for Argentina.
