KAROO NEWS - Two members of Midlands clubs won medals at the Eastern Province Singles Bowling Championships in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) this past weekend.
Aloma de Ridder, of Somerset East Bowling Club, won the gold medal in the Ladies' Novices category and Wally Koetaan, of Graaff-Reinet and Jansenville bowling clubs, won bronze in the Men's Open Singles category.
The ever-popular annual Viking Trips competition is due to take place in Middelburg, this coming weekend, on 6 and 7 March.
