GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - With winter fast approaching the start of the parkun has been moved forward by an hour to 08:00 from 2 April to accommodate late risers and to beat the colder weather.
Last Saturday's parkrun was marked by misty conditions but it turned out into another beautiful day.
A total of 52 people turned up to jog, walk and run the course. Six athletes were first timers while eight recorded new personal best times.
Several visitors from Villiersdorp, East London and King Williams Town took part.
The volunteers in the trenches were Mike Calitz, Dave Neill, André Claassen, Adele van den Berg, Gerrie van Rooyen and Corleen van der Walt.
Francois de Villiers and his two woofers are regular parkrunners.
